The 'President'
of the United States has decided not
to release the photo of Osama Bin Laden's body
for fear it would incite violence and be used as
an Al Quaeda propaganda tool. I thought about
this for awhile before I wrote down my thoughts,
almost coming to the decision to not say anything
one way or another...then I thought better of it.
Our 'President' is no more a Patriot
than he is a Christian. Let's take one issue at a
time and I'll show you what I mean, and what he
should have done: He speaks of a god in generic terms,
hardly if ever mentioning the Name of Jesus. He
believes not in the personal salvation of a
messiah, but in collective salvation in which
society becomes one in equality by overturning
the past sins of human society. In other words,
it's a salvation by works. The One True God has
something to say about that:
"For
by grace are ye saved through faith [in Christ];
and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of
God: Not of works, lest any man should
boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
As for his 'Patriotism',
or I should say, his lack of it, he has
demonstrated nothing but animosity toward the
country he was elected to lead. Bowing to foreign
heads of state as a slave would to his master and
taking every opportunity to apologize for America
being a land of the free and home of the brave.
He said "It is important for us to make
sure that very graphic photos of somebody who was
shot in the head are not floating around as an
incitement to additional violence. As a
propaganda tool...". Actually, the
photo would have made an excellent 'tool'
Mr. 'President', not for propaganda, but
for fear, warning those that terrorism against
the United States will not be tolerated! Here's
what you should have done:
When you came to
the podium Sunday evening to announce the death
of Osama Bin Laden, you should have held up the
photo of his blood-drenched body to the camera.
You should have looked straight into the lens and
said, 'If you hurt American citizens, whether
here or abroad, you will die like this. If you
come to this country to carry out terrorist acts,
you will die like this. We don't care if you
don't like us, but don't cross us, or you will
die like this. We will hunt you down, no matter
where you are, no matter how long it takes, and
you will die...like this.'
And for all you
folks reading this that believe I'm being too
harsh, let's not forget about the blood the Lord
spills when He returns:
"And
I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse;
and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and
True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make
war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his
head were many crowns; and he had a name written,
that no man knew, but he himself. And he was
clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his
name is called The Word of God. And the armies
which were in heaven followed him upon white
horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that
with it he should smite the nations: and he shall
rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the
winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty
God." (Revelation 19:11-15)
It's a fearful
thing to fall under the wrath of the living God
when He's angry. And if we had a President that
actually believed in Him, it would be a fearful
thing to fall under the wrath of the United
States of America.
