April 20th, 1999 was a tragic day. Many innocent children were killed in a horrendous school massacre in Columbine, Colorado. The Holy Spirit, through that event, sparked my soul to pen a short commentary about the shooting. In short, I wrote that no new laws, no lawmakers, no intercession by mortal means would stop such terrorist events in the future, and that man would need to turn to God, Himself to intercede. I uploaded that single short page to our personal web space on our local Internet server, and named the article Divine Intervention. With that, this website was born.

That commentary received only a few hundred visits, and remained as only one page for almost a year, until the Holy Spirit guided us further toward His goal for this ministry. At His leading, I used the name from the commentary and Divine Intervention became a multi-page website, declaring the salvation of Jesus and His imminent return. But the Holy Spirit was not finished, for even though we were preaching the Gospel message online, the scope of the website's reach was limited. Due to the site being confined within our personal space on the Web server, it made the website's URL address extremely long, and therefore hard to find.

Nita and I had been praying for a domain name to become available, for it seemed that's what the Lord wanted since the Holy Spirit continued to move us in that direction. Then, almost one year ago, that prayer was answered and "DivineIntervention.ws" came into being! So, we would like to share what the Lord has done with Divine Intervention, for it's really His website. He has simply blessed us with the joy of operating it.

Before the domain name and for a short time thereafter, Divine Intervention was receiving barely 200 visits per month. It now averages over 2600 per month, with that number continuing to grow.

A web search for the words "divine intervention" utilizing the Google search engine shows the Divine Intervention website listed on the first page, near the top under most relevant of 313,000 results! Only the Lord could have brought about this favor, as we have done nothing to advance our search engine listing nor status.

At this writing, Divine Intervention has been viewed within the continents of Africa, Asia, Central America, Europe, North America, Oceania and South America. And, within those continents, we receive visitors from the following nations:

Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bermuda, Botswana, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, China, Cocos (Keeling Islands), Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Grenada, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Lebanon, Latvia, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Samoa, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan (Province of China), Thailand, Uganda, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Yugoslavia and Zimbabwe.

And, those visitors are not restricted to only the public, but visits have also been recorded from large corporations in America and abroad, educational institutions the world over, government offices and agencies worldwide, and military installations around the globe.

There is one reason that Divine Intervention exists: Jesus.

There is one fact Nita and I want Divine Intervention to proclaim: Jesus saves.

There is one warning Nita and I, through Divine Intervention, want all to be aware of: Jesus is coming.

The Lord said:

"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." (Matthew 24:14)

Nita and I praise and thank our Lord Jesus for the opportunity to serve Him through this ministry that He has provided, and is continuing to increase. We believe due to the nearness of His return, He is using this ministry, and others like it, to further His Gospel message and gather His Church in preparation for taking us Home! We would not be if not for Him; this website would not be if not for Him; we would not have eternal life if not for Him. He is pouring out His blessings to us and this ministry to declare that time is short, He is coming, and we need to be ready.

"And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch." (Mark 13:37)
